Attorneys Brian C. Crick and Jason C. Love are Jacksonville natives that love the city where they grew up. After both having worked at The Office of the Public Defender, Brian and Jason decided to form Crick & Love, P.A. so they could focus their attention on the practice of criminal and family law in Northeast Florida. As a part of the Riverside business community, they enjoy contributing to the wonderful mix of established businesses and new up-and-coming ventures in the area.
Meet the Attorneys
Attorney Jason C. Love is a Jacksonville native, hailing from the Riverside/Avondale area of town. Jason attended RPDS in 5-Points, before going to Darnell Cookman Middle School and Stanton College Prep.
He graduated from Stanton and then attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate degree, where he received a B.A. in Political Science.
After graduating, Jason began working for the Clerk of Courts of Duval County, where he was a Deputy Clerk. He worked in the civil department of the Circuit Court, gaining valuable experience and learning the inner workings of the court system.
Jason graduated from the Florida State University College of Law and passed the Florida Bar in 2013. Jason began his legal career with the Public Defender's Office in the Juvenile Department of Duval County, where he represented juveniles in delinquency cases for nearly two years. Jason subsequently worked in the Felony Division in Clay County, handling a wide variety of serious felonies.
Attorney Brian C. Crick grew up in Jacksonville, where he attended The Bolles School. Thereafter, he received a Bachelor in Science degree from Florida State University with a major in Criminology and Criminal Justice.
After college, Brian moved to Detroit, MI. While there, he attended and received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law, earning honors as a finalist in the Advanced Appellate Advocacy Competition. During his time in law school, he had the privilege of interning with The Law Firm of Pajcic & Pajcic, where he received training and experience in personal injury litigation.
Upon graduation from law school, Brian began his legal career with The Office of the Public Defender where he handled cases ranging from misdemeanors to felonies punishable by life imprisonment. He has handled countless motion hearings, sentencing hearings, depositions, and jury trials.
In his spare time, Brian enjoys tennis, music, traveling and being a husband and father.
